remind me again why I'm still up?

After being stuffed full of turkey, dressing, casseroles, and cake I thought I finish off the day (and start the next) doing Black Friday shopping. Of course I didn't go anywhere... last I checked I still had common sense... well enough to not go out and get caught up in that crazy mess. For those who love Black Friday shopping, more power to you but for me, I prefer to stay home. I like shopping where I can stay in my pajamas and eat whenever I want... food's a big thing for me. So here I sit with my Mommy... finding good deals and trying to stay awake. Well, she seems to be going strong... I, on the other hand, practically fell asleep laid across the counter. It's so easy to do since I'm all bundled up with house shoes, hoodie, and blankie. I hope you all had an awesome Thanksgiving. I know I certainly did. I also know that my correct grammar and punctuation completely out the window... we'll just chalk that up to that fact that it's almost 1:30 in the morning and I may or may not have had way more to eat than I should have. Well, on that note I shall go help my Mommy finish her shopping and then get off to bed... if I make it that far. Happy Black Friday!

I absolutely can't believe that this is almost over... just two more hours left in this year. It's gone by way faster than usual. But I have no regrets. It's been a great year. I am looking forward to this coming year. Making new resolutions is really fun... although sometimes hard to follow through with. I try to make my resolutions reasonible. I don't like making goals that I can't set. Sorry if my thoughts seem kinda scattered tonight... I haven't had much sleep the last couple days to spite the fact that I'm on break. Speaking of break, it's almost over... Tuesday is the official end of my break. Well, I'm gonna go and watch tv... then watch the ball drop.... then watch the back up of my eyelids... Christmas Eve

Well, it's Christmsa Eve. I honestly can't believe it... not only has this year gone by fast, this Christmas season has gone extremely fast. Christmas is my most favorite time of year. I love the different lights and all the other decorations. I just have to remember the real "Reason for the Season." It tops all the Christmas trees, the lights, and yes even the presents. We were given the greatest Christmas ever... we don't need anymore after that. So, I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas!

I have yet again failed epically at keeping this blog up to date... big shocker there;). Oh well... Well, I've been sick for the past couple days... since Sunday afternoon... I hope I'm better by Christmas! Actually I really wanna be better by Thursday because one of my friends is having an airsoft war and I really want to go it... and Caroline is coming over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sooooooooooooo excited:D Well, I'm gonna go lay down and drink some juice...ugh... the joys of being sick... (:

I can't believe it...

I can't get over how fast this year has gone by... I mean it's already December! Oh well... they say the older you get the faster time goes by... I must be getting really old. I was gonna do a 25 days of Christmas thing but I missed the first 5 days of December so I'll just figure out something else to do... :). I hope all of you read the guest post from Paul. It is something that he thinks is really important and I agree with him. Our nation is definitely not what it was founded on anymore and absolutely needs prayer. It's amazing how many problems can be solved if you just center everything you do around God. Well, I will leave you with that thought. I hope you all have a great evening!

Thanksgiving ~ Part 3

So, here I am again. Day three I haven't missed one yet! Aren't you impressed? ;) Day three: I am thankful for the ability to run. That's not exactly a thing but it is definitely something that makes my life better. I ran for 30 minutes (in case you were wondering;)) today. It was a great run. It reminded me that I should be thankful that I can run. Some people can't run because of various reasons... but I (most of the time) do. That is also something that I take for granted. I forget that I don't need a gym or a workout buddy... I just need some asphalt and running shoes. So what are you thankful for today?

Thanksgiving ~ Part 2

I am very thankful for God's grace and mercy. Sadly, I take advantage of this very often. I go through days and don't even think about thanking Him for saving me and forgiving me and loving me. I have a verse (that doesn't really have anything to do with what I just said) that I would like to share with you.
Philippians 4:6 ~ Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

Thanksgiving ~ Part 1

So, Thanksgiving is this week and I figured all of my posts should be about Thanksgiving for this week. I will post (or try to) everyday about something that I am thankful for. So, day 1 I am thankful for my family. One thing about my family is they're not all related by blood. I have some friends that I consider family. I am so blessed to have them. I was blessed enough to be born and raised in a godly home. I was brought up learning about God. I realize that not many people have that opportunity. I often take that for granted. So what are you thankful for?

Well, I hope you all had a great day! I did... I spend most of the day in the pool:). Tomorrow morning I plan on getting up and running and I have a soccer pickup game tomorrow night. I am so excited to get out there and run because I haven't run since I got sick... about a week ago. Well, I'm gonna go and watch the cover show:) Have a good night y'all:)

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

It truly is the most wonderful time of the year, to me anyways:). I had a great Christmas! Spending time with family (and watching Toy Story 3) was definitely a great day or me. But I really had to think about the true meaning of Christmas. It's not about presents or spending time with family but often forget that Christ's birth is the true meaning of Christmas. Oh My Goodness... It's Almost Christmas Break!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so excited that Christmas break is in 2 days!!!!! I am so tired of school! But it will come and go soon enough... Can you believe that Christmas is 10 days from today??? I can't... it's gone by way too fast. Well, I have been sick for last 13 days and I honestly do not know how many times I am going to have to blow my nose to get everything out of it! I have got to be past the million mark. ;) But through I have had to think about being thankful... it could be worse... I guess it's hard for us to just automatically be thankful in situations like that but we need to try. :D Well, I guess I better go and finish all of my homework before I go to get a haircut...
