A very hectic summer...

Here we are with less than two weeks until school starts. Where has the summer gone? I got to enjoy some of it but most of it I was miserable. After my awesome week at the Wilds, I came home with a bad cold... which turned into a sinus infection. I was miserable. To make matters worse, I had a drug reaction to the antibiotic they gave me and ended up in urgent care. Making that a total of 4 weeks I was out of commission. Then if that wasn't enough, 2 weeks ago I went through the dreaded wisdom teeth extraction. I am praying that nothing else will go wrong this summer... I want to enjoy my last two weeks! Other than that, this summer has been great. I had an amazing beach vacation, an awesome week at camp, and Neighborhood Bible Time at our church. The Lord has definitely in and around me this summer. It was especially noticeable this past week of NBT. I can't wait to see how the Lord will continue to work. It's one thing to read about our God in the Bible but when you actually look and see His work around you... it's beyond amazing. How great a God we serve!

remind me again why I'm still up?

After being stuffed full of turkey, dressing, casseroles, and cake I thought I finish off the day (and start the next) doing Black Friday shopping. Of course I didn't go anywhere... last I checked I still had common sense... well enough to not go out and get caught up in that crazy mess. For those who love Black Friday shopping, more power to you but for me, I prefer to stay home. I like shopping where I can stay in my pajamas and eat whenever I want... food's a big thing for me. So here I sit with my Mommy... finding good deals and trying to stay awake. Well, she seems to be going strong... I, on the other hand, practically fell asleep laid across the counter. It's so easy to do since I'm all bundled up with house shoes, hoodie, and blankie. I hope you all had an awesome Thanksgiving. I know I certainly did. I also know that my correct grammar and punctuation completely out the window... we'll just chalk that up to that fact that it's almost 1:30 in the morning and I may or may not have had way more to eat than I should have. Well, on that note I shall go help my Mommy finish her shopping and then get off to bed... if I make it that far. Happy Black Friday!

Im back! :)

I'm hesitant to say that because I normally only post like every 2 months... which is ridiculous... I mean it only takes a few minutes... oh well. I start school back next week and I can't say that I'm ready for that but I also can't say that I'm dreading it. I always like starting school it's just the continuing I have a problem with. ;) My birthday is exactly 6 days from right now and I am super excited!!! I am actually getting my permit on my birthday! I still have no idea how I managed to get my parents to let me;). I have been very sick this past week but now I am almost completely recovered. I say almost because I'm still coughing a little and because of the fluid built up in my ears I can't hear very well. I started physical therapy for my knee last Tuesday. We are all hoping this will strengthen the muscles around my knee and fix the problem so I won't have to have surgery. I really really really really really don't want to have surgery. :) I have my first belt test in karate on the 18th. I'm excited and nervous at the same time... Well, I guess I'll go and start reading the driver's book... that might be helpful with the test... Bye!

Hey;)

I am almost completely recovered from my concussion. Hopefully pictures from my awesome (and somewhat dangerous) week will be here soon. I forgot to mention that K (one of three most awesome kids on my street) got saved last Sunday. I was sooo excited and she was too! She's only 8 but she's more mature than me at times. Well, maybe that's an overstatement but you get the idea. Then the next night my other neighbor whose 8 and name is Kylie got saved. ( I know it's confusing) It was truly an awesome week!
We got to beat each other up at karate last night with our belts. Haha just kidding... Sensei has us doing some really cool drills with our belts. It was really fun. And I always enjoy doing kata. Summer has been awesome so far. Next week I'll be at camp and I'm sure that will be awesome (assuming I don't get another concussion) Well, on that note, I have floors to clean and laundry to put away so adios!

Well...

Here I am almost a month into summer and I haven't posted anything at all. My summer has been great so far... especially this week. Neighborhood Bible Time has been a blast. I have made many memories... and injuries. Every single person that has been at NBT has at least one bruise I'm sure. Although I took home the gold on Wednesday night... While trying to make it all the way across the tarp on my feet (which was covered in baby shampoo and sprayed by the firefighter) I got half way across and my feet slid out from under me. One concussion later I still don't remember falling but I'm sure I didn't black out or anything. At least I got people to laugh;). Also I gave people a pretty good run for their money by diving over the four foot big ball and landing on my right knee and elbow. Yet again I got the most laughs... ;) It's been an awesome week and it's going to be an awesome summer. Have a great day!

Here I sit

Here I sit on my bed in our beach house. Well, the beach house we're renting for the week. It's our seventh day on vacation and I worn myself out with fun. Well, fun and my Dad but they're kind of one and the same. I am looking forward to getting back home although I'm not ready for vacation to end. It will be fun hanging out with friends, doing stuff with church, writing new music, organizing, etc. I am excited for what this summer has to offer. At church we have lots of pontential for new families and kids that will be greatly welcomed. It's all really exciting. I will be working on my music more intently. I will be doing extra work ahead (and behind) on school to make sure my high school years count. I will spending time with God studying His word and seeking His will. I will be organizing my room, the gym, the den, etc. because I'm just so OCD. I will training more significantly and hopefully work on strengthening my knee. I will start running again no matter how bad my knee hurts. I'm gonna get more tan than I already am. I going to spend most of my time outside, at the pool, or on the river... of course with some of my most favorite people. I am looking forward to the rest of my life. This is the first day of the rest of my life and I'm going to make it count. Make it stand out. Make it mine.

Oh well...

Seems like keeping up on my blog isn't my thing so I'm not even gonna say anything about trying to get better;). I don't think I've posted anything about me starting karate or anything like that.... but I did start karate I think about 5 weeks ago. It's awesome:). Not many of my soccer skills carry over though... but fitness is definitely a must. Every Monday night my Dad and I go to cardio combat which is basically just a killer workout for 50 minutes. Every Tuesday and Thursday we have regular karate class. I love all of it (even though I got sick this past Monday;)). I'm still writing songs... more or less. I have some lyrics with no music and some music with no lyrics;).

A few weeks ago you might've noticed my statuses about my Unle Eddie in the hospital. Well, he was very, very close to losing his life but the Lord spared him and he is doing much better now. My grandma stayed with us for about 2 weeks so that was fun. :) But through that whole situation I just saw God working everything out in a way that only He knew would work. No human could've ever had a plan better than that. What a wonderful God we serve who works everything out for our good and His glory.

It's Wednesday...

I know it's only 9:30 but I'm literally following alseep. Oh well. Did you guys hear Jack got his halo off today? That pretty much made my day. It's just amazing seeing how strong and joyful he can be. It kinda makes me wonder how I would respond in that situation. But hands down, Jack's a huge role model for kids everywhere.

I crashed my scooter three times today... although, I was sitting down on the scooter 2 out of 3 times. The other time I didn't actually fall... I caught myself. The weather was awesome today. We had a blast outside. I'm sure that will be the same for the rest of the week. Maybe I'll find some people to take pictures of us outside because I know that y'all are dying to see what we do out there;). Idk... it's just an idea. Honestly, my thoughts are kinda all over the place right now because I'm so stinkin' tired. With that I'm just gonna tell y'all goodnight and post something in the morning. just some sentences...

So, I'll give you guys just a quick little update about life.
I started school back on Wednesday.
I won't be playing soccer this season because there's no age group at our club for a team.
I'm starting violin on Friday:).
I ran 2.68 miles yesterday.
I just went through and labeled all of my posts, added Jack's other website to my blog list, and posted a picture of my Mom and Dad.
I am ready for summer.
I am still having trouble with my knee.
I have a geography and science test tomorrow.
I wish more people commented on my blog posts.
I wish more people read my blog.
I am praying for Jack.
I have been reading my Bible everyday and the Lord has been showing me amazing things through His Word.
I have learned to trust the Lord's decisions.
I have had to let go people I loved.
I am rejoicing in all things because I have the joy of the Lord.
I am choosing not to be a typical teenager.
I'm wondering if anyone is still reading this................. ;)

So yeah...

I have totally failed at keeping this blog even remotely up to date. I apologize. I mean I know how it annoying to get into a blog and then the person never posts anything. Not that that many people are into my blog but I thought I'd just throw that out there. So, my life has been slightly less boring during the time I haven't posted. My life has been kind of up and down lately but more on that later. I just wanted to give a slight update on my life... not a big, long, drawn-out post about every area of my life. That would be weird. ;) So, soccer season is basically over... my last game(s) were last weekend but practices go through December 1st. Of course I'm not complaining:). School has been very, very busy. I hardly have time for anything else. But, that's the life of a teenager. Well, a teenager that is an athlete and doesn't just float through school if you catch my drift. Oh and I almost forgot... I have started saying things like "if you catch my drift" and "well, I guess you're not the sharpest pitchfork in the barn..." and please don't ask why... *cough*Dad*cough*... ;) But anyway this post ended up being way longer than I had planned and I haven't even put up any pictures yet! Oh well... one very important thing I have learned recently is that things can't always be planned... they happen by suprise the majority of the time. Not that that applies to a blog post but you know what I mean. :)

I know I didn't really post a ton about what I did this summer... I didn't even post pictures... so over the next few months I'm gonna post random pictures about my summer so you can found out what I did over the summer:)

long time no blog:)

It's been about 12 days since I have done a post on my blog... sorry about that. I would say I've been busy, but, compared to last school year, I am nowhere near busy. I have a lot of pictures that I'm going to put up on my blog but I won't do that right now. Hopefully I will have them put up by tonight. Nothing really exciting has happened lately... I mean yesterday I wiped out on the driveway and now I have a knot on my knee... and my cousins flew in from Florida on Tuesday:) But, I will save all that for the pictures:) Have a great day:)

Update on life

Well, as you might have noticed I haven't blogged since Monday. I have a very good excuse though. See as Tuesday morning... about 12 am... I was sick throwing up... Today I am feeling much better. I didn't have anything to eat yesterday except for about 10 crackers but today I had a bowl of soup and it was amazing:) So, now that you know why I wasn't on blogger, I will end this post before I bore you guys to death with things you don't care about:) Have a great night:)

Update

Well, I haven't done a post in a while... Well, I haven't done a post in a while about anything interesting... ;) Since school got out nothing has been going on that's significant. I haven't gotten hurt (bad) recently;). I had soccer tryouts last night and then again tomorrow night. I am counting down the days until something exciting happens and you will just to wait to find out what that is:). I discovered that you're never too old for chalk and that riding a scooter barefoot for several hours will rub your foot raw... and it hurts:). I have also been learning that I'm old enough for my wants not to hurt me. I already have so much but I keep asking for more. I need to stop doing that:). I have been looking for a 5k for me and some other people to do once school gets out but haven't found one yet. I discovered that orange juice can fly. Hint: while shaking said orange juice hold the lid shut... That's another story for another day... I also beat my time in running a mile to 6:50! Which I am extremely excited about... although, my knee didn't agree with me... we're still working on that:). Well, I guess I better go before you guys get bored with this... or maybe y'all aren't A.D.D. like I am:) Have a great day!

Update.... On Life:)

Well, I know I haven't posted in a long time but that's mainly because of school and soccer and church... so with all that I really don't have time... I was thinking that if I did an update everyday in life all of you would stop reading my blog because my life really isn't that exciting... oh well:) I guess I could start out by saying that nothing exciting is happening in school.... or piano... just the same as usual. There is noy possible way I could be any more ready for summer with no school, no piano, not even soccer.... :) I can almost guarantee you I will be outside all day every day (if weather permits) because I'm just that kind of girl:). I hyperextended my knee about a week ago at soccer practice... some people would classify that as exciting... I, on the other hand, classify it as extremely painful. And no I did not cry;). Well, I guess I should go so you don't get bored reading this... Hopefully I will have some pictures to post soon! Unfortunately I don't have a working camera so phone pictures will have to do for now unless I get my Mommy to take pictures for me with her camera:). Hope you guys have a great day:)
