Our Beach House

Since my Mom is taking pictures like crazy, I will have a ton of pictures by the time the week is over. I already have a ton... If you guys get bored with pictures... you'll just have to deal with it. I know some people back home want to see my pictures and it's easier just to put them up here. Hopefully I will get more posted before we go back out. :)

Do You Know?

So, can you guess where we are right now?????? I kinda hinted a couple days ago that we were going to do something exciting and that included us packing up our stuff and going somewhere... but where in the world did we go? Well, I'm not going to tell you just yet. I want you to think about it. Hopefully I will have time to post pictures for y'all to see. I am gonna go eat some delicious grilled chicken that my Daddy cooked with some salad and then I'm gonna get a shower. I will try and post those pictures soon!!!

Good morning! As you might know already I am in a very good mood today and it has a lot to do with what's going on tomorrow. But you can't know what that is yet. Trust me you will soon! I am getting ready to go run a mile then come in and start *packing. I also have to cut the grass tonight before my Dad gets home, but I love doing it. It's Thursday...

Well, it's Thursday... nothing has happened since I wrote yesterday. I mean it's summer... what am I supposed to do? Tonight is the last night of soccer tryouts. Tomorrow will be spent getting ready for something... can't tell you yet:). I have spent today doing laundry, dishes, and packing. Not very exciting. So, I guess I better go. Have a great day!

Update

Well, I haven't done a post in a while... Well, I haven't done a post in a while about anything interesting... ;) Since school got out nothing has been going on that's significant. I haven't gotten hurt (bad) recently;). I had soccer tryouts last night and then again tomorrow night. I am counting down the days until something exciting happens and you will just to wait to find out what that is:). I discovered that you're never too old for chalk and that riding a scooter barefoot for several hours will rub your foot raw... and it hurts:). I have also been learning that I'm old enough for my wants not to hurt me. I already have so much but I keep asking for more. I need to stop doing that:). I have been looking for a 5k for me and some other people to do once school gets out but haven't found one yet. I discovered that orange juice can fly. Hint: while shaking said orange juice hold the lid shut... That's another story for another day... I also beat my time in running a mile to 6:50! Which I am extremely excited about... although, my knee didn't agree with me... we're still working on that:). Well, I guess I better go before you guys get bored with this... or maybe y'all aren't A.D.D. like I am:) Have a great day!

two miles...

We both ran and walked two miles. My sister is doing this 5k training thing and to start out it has you doing this walk/run thing... I was along for the ride! Normally I run by my self because there's is no one else to run with me but last night Ashley said that she would get up early and we could run together. Our time was not terrible but there's room for improvement:) We did 2 miles in 35min 27sec. I'm sure some people that read this will laugh but remember I ran a mile in 6min 58sec. :) So, I will continue training like I have been for the past two weeks and hopefully will run a 5k sometime towards the beginning of fall... so it won't be too hot! I'm really starting to get nervous about soccer tryouts next week... but I remember that verse, Philippians 4:6-Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. By the time soccer tryouts roll around I will have that verse memorized:). Well, I will probably do another post sometime today... if not I should be able to do one tomorrow! Y'all have a great day!

motivation

This morning I am running with my sister... we are going to do two miles but we're going to alternate walking and running. I will post our time when we get back. While I'm gone you should go out and run and see if you can beat our time!

I ran a mile... (again;))

only this time I did it in 6min 58sec!!!!!!!! (yesterday) That's why I'm in such a great mood:). The piano recital went great last night... hopefully I will put some pictures up soon:). Soccer tryouts are next week and I'm starting to get nervous... I just need to pray that the Lord's will be done because He is in ultimate control... but I really wanna make select... :) Well, I'm gonna go so I can run and wash the car for my Mommy:). Friday Night

Well, it's Friday night. Even though I'm out of school I still look forward to Fridays. There's just something about Fridays... you can stay up really, really late, you can sleep late in the morning, and you can have friends over:). Tonight was one of those nights that I get to have a friend over. Since I had a piano party (that Caroline went to also) I got to have her over:). We have a blast when we're together... although, most of the time we end up getting into some kind of trouble around 1 or 2 a.m. But we have fun (:. Well, we're watching the Blindside so I better finish watching it... hope y'all have a great night!

another lazy day...

I'm actually not supposed to be being lazy but I kind of am... I spent my morning pretty much cleaning and the I went out and ran a mile. I have some math to do, a couple blog posts to do on my other blog, and I need to finish vacuuming the upstairs. I ran a mile today in 8:13 which is faster than my latest time of 8:57. Right now I'm just sitting here watching TV when I should be doing math... I could be sitting here at least doing sit ups or push ups... so I guess I should go do that instead of playing on the computer. Maybe I will have some kind of pictures later today or tomorrow. some sentences

Yesterday I spent about 5 hours outside playing with my neighbors. We had a blast! We did everything from playing on my old, old swing set, to riding our bikes down our street (which is a really big hill and is awesome to ride down). We played with chalk, rode scooters, drank lots of water, and just had a blast. I am so excited for all them to get out of school so we can do that all day everyday. During the summer I don't spend much time in the house. I love being outside and hanging out with my friends. It's awesome and they're awesome. Well, we're having company over tonight and my Mom is bugging me to go clean the bathroom so I will go do that.... have a great day!

I Can't Belive it's Here (:

This is my lest official day of school!!!!!! I can't believe summer break is here:). I'm so happy right now... I can't believe that school is done (except for math) and that summer break is here!!!! Well, I will try and get a new picture to post... maybe even go back to posting a new picture everyday... who knows:) Hope y'all have a great day!

it's 9 o'clock...

it's actually 8:52 but whatever... I know I said I wouldn't have time to update my blog after I got home today... and I don't... but I am. I don't really know what I'm gonna talk about... After I cut the grass and blew off the driveway, we went to watch my sister do a mud run. I have to admit it was more amusing then anything else but I am proud of her. She walked away alive, breathing, and with no injuries. She is sore and a little swollen but, that's to be expected. I mean it's first mud run... what should I expect? Anyone who knows Ashley should know that she's not the 'outside' type of girl. I am. She isn't. It's as simple as that. For me to see my pink lovin', diamond wearing, cute as a button sister going head first into a mud puddle the size of a glorified kiddy pool and then to see her finish out that whole thing... through more mud... it was amazing. Will she ever do it again? I don't know... probably because she's just cool like that. A bit of a change of subject... tonight once we got home me and my neighbors discovered that the three eggs we have been watching in my back yard had hatched!... well 2 of the 3 have. Another thing to add to my good mood:). Y'all have a good night!

Another Saturday Goes Down in the Books...

Well, actually Saturday isn't over yet... oh well:). I just got in from cutting the grass... I cleaned my little nasty self up and now I'm gettin' ready to go and study for my last Science and History tests! I can't believe Monday is my last day of school!!! Since school will be over very very soon I will hopefully have more time to update my blog... hopefully with more pictures than words:). I had my last piano practice on Wednesday, I had my last soccer practice on Thursday, and Monday will be my last day of school! Since everything is pretty much over for the summer I will have time to do things that I have been putting off... like organizing my closet again... cleaning out the garage for some extra cash... maybe washing the cars also to get some extra money:)... and hopefully I can do some soccer camps this summer. One of my favorite things to do in the summer is go fishing on the river and swimming at my grandparents pool so hopefully I will be able to do that almost every weekend:). Well, I better go and study for my tests... hope y'all have a great day! :)

a short note before bed

I just got back from soccer... and I didn't have to wear my knee brace! I had forgotten what it felt like to play soccer without it. It was beyond awesome:) Since it's almost 10:00 and I have school tomorrow I should probably get a shower and go to bed... hope y'all have a good night!

Looking Back... at our beach trip in 2009

I love the beach. It's so beautiful. Not only that but it's so stinkin' fun! I love body surfing and shell collecting and walking and watching dolphins... and just everything about the beach:) Of course, when this family goes to the beach... we do a whole lot more then normal... just wait till you see this year's beach pictures:) See, at the beach... me and my sister look like idiots and my Dad becomes and camera man with his hat on backwards taking pictures:) my Mom becomes and relaxed human being and can fall asleep at any moment... even on the beach in a chair. But that's how this family does our vacations and we couldn't have any more fun:)

Summer :)

During last summer (toward the end) I was really excited about starting school, getting into a routine, doing something that nothing... Now I absolutely cannot wait until summer! I am literally counting down the days until I can be free from this prison adults call school. I'm sure my view of school will change when I'm like 30 something... maybe. If the only subject I had to take was History I would be totally fine. Even if I had History and like Reading or Bible... but Math, Science, and English really get me... and what's bad is they're not even that hard! Oh well... I only have about 2 more weeks of school... :) I am super excited about our beach trip:) When this family goes to the beach we become the definition of relaxing. We do nothing. Absolutely nothing. I'm not going to get into that right now because that will make me start complaining about school and how it should be outlawed... :) Well, much to my dismay, I still have homework to do so I better go and do it... I will try and post a picture of the beach later today... Have a great day! :)
